“Hi my name is Joanne Kirkwood.
Before I joined Lecropt Nursery I was at Riverside Out of School Club as a play worker and I am currently studying for my SVQ 3 in Social Services Children and Young People. I also have a MSC degree in Autism and a BA in Psychology.
In my spare time, I like to walk my dogs, go hiking and go to the gym. I am currently on maternity leave with my baby boy, Freddie from June 2020.”

“Hello, my name is Dee McGinn and I joined Bridge of Allan Out of School Club in August 2016. I then went on to supply for the club, Lecropt Nursery and Old Doune Road Nursery due to family circumstances. I have worked with children for many years with experience being a Support for Learning Assistant, Early Years Practitioner, Play Worker and Support Worker. I received Makaton training when I worked with Play Alloa where I worked with children of all ages and adults with additional support needs. I gained my HNC in Childhood Practice in 2019. I provide support for equity within our 3-5 age group for 3 days a week.”

“Hi my name is Amy Armitage and I started at Lecropt in September 2019 working between the nursery and Bridge of Allan Out of School Club. I became based at Lecropt in January 2020. I completed my SVQ 3 with Carousel training whilst working at another nursery. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my dog and exploring Scotland.”

“Hello, my name is Alicia Gibbons. I was born in England but moved to Dubai when I was 3 years old, this is where I spent most of my childhood. I then attended secondary school in Florida, USA during high school I volunteered in different settings with children from birth to 11 years old. I also have spent a few years working with children and young adults with unique differences and learning disabilities. I gained my Bachelors in Psychology minoring in Primary/Elementary Education in 2019 before becoming a Early years practitioner in a preschool in the 2 year old classroom in Florida. I joined Lecropt Nursery in November 2020 and I am excited to start my journey at Lecropt Nursery!”
