getting to know our local community

Last week was full of adventures! We have been practising our climbing skills and risk assessing our environments and objects when out and about. Our 2-5s ventured to the local play park and our very kind neighbours hid some treasures around the secret garden which our 2-3s enjoyed finding. They then went on a treasure hunt around the Darn Walk and visited Robert Louis Stevenson's pirate cave. Our 3-5s paid a visit to the Mine Woods and had a fantastic time exploring in the leaves, climbing trees and hiding in dens. Meanwhile our 0-2s when for a stroll along the Carse to look at the local wildlife and farm animals.
